I offer two kinds of editing.

Copy Editing

This is perfect for writers who just need a second set of eyes before it goes off to a final proofread. Your work is structurally complete, and just needs syntax refinement.

I'll check for:

• Spelling & grammar
• word choice & emotion
• phrasing & sentence clarity

The fee is $30 per 1000 words.

Developmental Editing

This is perfect for writers who have a completed first draft. You've gotten your story from A to Z, but big structural overhauls aren't out of the question.

I'll check for:

• Storytelling tone & style
• Concept articulation & substance
• Character voice & motivation
• Plot structure & pacing

The fee is $70 per 1000 words.

How to Purchase

Select either Copy Editing or Developmental Editing, and enter a quantity per 1000 words of your work. If you'd like to just submit a portion of your work at first and decide later if you want the entire thing edited, that's fine.

Once you purchase, you will receive a link to a form where I will ask you key information about your work. You will need to upload the work in Microsoft Word .doc/.docx format.

About The Editor

I have a Bachelor's degree in Business, with minors in Film Studies and Psychology. I have a Master's degree in Information Systems. For over a decade I have worked in marketing, creative writing, user experience, media production, and education. I teach writers how to structure their work for maximum impact and readership.
